From the Star to the Cross

This is the second week of Lent in 2019 and Pastor Paul Rieger has an interesting message.  When you think of Lent, do you think of Christmas?  Well, Pastor Rieger says, you should!  His message, “From the Star to the Cross”, talks about how Jesus’ birth set the stage for our Lenten Season.

If we think about that wondrous birth in a stable some thirty years before Jesus’ death, we can put some context behind his death.  Jesus had to come to Earth as a human baby.  Not as a god.  He had to live with us and be one of us.
