Rev. Dr. Michael Nirva – 1962-2018

The family of Pastor Michael Nirva, Trinity’s Senior Pastor, has let us know the plans for the Celebration of Life service to be held at Trinity.

We will be celebrating Pastor Nirva’s life and ministry on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:30 am here at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault, MN.  Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4pm – 7pm also at Trinity.

This service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to be with us at the church for the service.  We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate the life and ministry of this wonderful pastor, husband and father.

Prayers Requested and Lifted

As you conduct your daily prayers, we’d ask you to please lift the following up in prayer:

• The family of Michael – His wife Lisa and daughters Noelle and Kajsa as they grieve their loss and move into a different future.  Pray for their well-being, and that Jesus will bring them solace and peace that this separation is only temporary.
• Trinity Congregation – As we move forward with the ministry and grieve the loss of our Senior Pastor.  Pray the congregation continues to follow the lead Pastor Nirva set in ministry and that we continue to focus on spreading the great news that even in death there is life through Jesus Christ.
• Pastor Paul Rieger – Our Associate Pastor who is taking on an even larger role here at the church.  Pray for strength and guidance as he continues his ministry here at Trinity.
• Community of Believers – Pray for those who believe in the gift of salvation given to us by Jesus.
• Those who do not yet believe – Pray for those who need yet to come to understand that through belief, they too can be saved.  This is the focus of our mission here at Trinity and one that Pastor Nirva and Pastor Rieger have focused on during their tenure at Trinity.
