Serving

This week we look at “Serving” as we continue on with our study of “The Red Letter Challenge” which is adapted from the book by Zach Zehnder.

WE SERVE BECAUSE WE WANT TO BE MORE LIKE JESUS.

Jesus told us, in the Great Commission, which can be found in Matthew 28:16-20,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We accomplish this command, through Service!  There are many ways we serve.

• Volunteering in our community
• Helping our neighbors
• Doing work in our church
• Showing others our faith in Jesus
