70 Year of Spreading the Word!

Trinity Radio and Video Services (The Trinity Radio Club) would like to take this opportunity to thank the congregation for supporting this ministry for 70 years! It is because of your vision and foresight that we have been on the air for this long.
This past month, we celebrated our 70th anniversary.

It’s hard to believe that this volunteer-driven ministry has been able to continue for this long. But then again, it’s not hard to believe. God has been in the driver’s seat from the beginning. We’ve been able to be successful in our ministry because He has given us the tools to make it happen.

Thank You for the Support!

We have a lot of people we’d like to thank for our 70-year celebration! First, we’d like to thank God for giving us the ability to do this for so long a time. We’d also like to thank Pastor William Utech for his wonderful message our first week of celebration. Pastors Nirva and Rieger have been awesome in their support of the ministry and of our celebration. Thrivent Financial gave us seed money for our celebration and we are thankful for their support. Our potluck celebration could not have happened without the wonderful assistance and guidance of Marcie Matthies and all the folks in the kitchen (too numerous to mention and I’d probably forget someone). Kevin Kreger and Steve Denninger did such an awesome job on the decorations in the front of the church and our thanks to them for that work.

The worship team with Barb Mrosko really went all out in preparing for our celebration services. We really appreciate their willingness to change the service format to help us celebrate and thank them for that. Another unsung hero when it comes to the Radio Club is Jennie Kingland in the office. She and her team are always willing to do what it takes to help us out and we are very grateful for what they do for us. And to all of the groups who have supported the Radio Ministry throughout the years (Bible Study groups, Pie Makers, LWML, and many more), we thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our ministry.

And finally, we’d like to thank our Trinity Radio Club members who have really done the job of keeping this ministry going. Becky Spitzack, since joining the group several years ago, has been instrumental in outreach to the congregation and the community. She put together our I-35 road clean up crews and was the planner of our potluck celebration and program. Jim and Nancy Boldt did a wonderful job of getting the display case in the narthex populated with the history of the Radio Club. And to add, Jim has been a member of the group for over 50 years! To our Charter Member, Elmer Schulz, for his wonderful stories and continuous support, we are truly thankful.

Looking to the Future

As we move into our next 70 years, we ask you to continue to support our ministry. Help us reach more and more people with the great news of salvation that our Lord Jesus gave us through his death and resurrection. Please continue to pray for our radio broadcasts, our live stream and our videos so that His Word is heard and seen throughout the world. Help us to continue to be that beacon of light on the hill, fulfilling the Great Commission
